Our stud dogs now have CHIC numbers.

 

 

CHIC, or Canine Health Information Center, offers a database of consolidated health screening results from multiple sources. Sponsored by the OFA, CHIC works with parent clubs to identify health screening protocols appropriate for individual breeds. Dogs tested in accordance with the parent club established requirements, that have their results registered and made available in the public domain are issued CHIC numbers.

Lottus – our quiet and loveable Havanese

Lottus, our female red Havanese from Sweden at Havs de GraceLottus is an adorable dog. A little on the quiet side while full of love and curiosity. She arrived here last July from Sweden. She’s from the same breeder as our handsome Lokkei.

Updates on Havanese Gr. Ch. Lucci de Grace

Our Havanese We Luv You Lucci de Grace is a beautiful lady who lives with us at Havs de Grace

We had hopes that Gr. Ch.
We Luv You Lucci de Grace
would also have puppies for us in June. But unless she’s hiding them really, really well I think we’ll have to wait a few months and try again. But it’ll be worth the wait. She’s a wonderful lady and we know we’ll be seeing great pups from her soon.

Do you think she’s a wee bit of daddy’s girl? No doubt about it.

Camera-Shy Lolla Mae de Grace

Lolla Mae de Grace is the most illusive Havanese to photograph. I’ve been at Pastor Ed and Debbie’s numerous times for hours each time. No matter how close to Lolla or how far away, she manages to evade the camera. No matter how patiently I wait, the very minute I go to click she’ll turn and move away. I’ve yet to get a really good photo although I have dozens of Lolla blurs!

This is the closest I was able to get and off she went. Lolla’s so funny. It’s as though she has an instinct for cameras. Celebrities most certainly could learn a thing or two from Lolla about avoiding the papparazzi!

Lolla Mae de Grace will be presenting us with puppies around June 12, 2015. So we’ll keep you posted.  __WebLady

Leonna – our newest Havanese puppy

Leonna is a beautiful 5 months old Havanese puppy. She’s full of curiousity – which means, pokes her nose into everything!

Leonna is very bright and learns easily. So this summer we will be sending her to our handler, Ruthellen Viall of Viva Havanese in Binghamton, NY. Ruthellen is awesome with our dogs and is looking forward to working with Leonna. She will work with Leonna to develop her ‘show’ skills. We have BIG hopes for Leonna and will most definitely keep you posted.

 

/ New Forever Homes

Havanese puppy Kashmir enjoys his first snow!

Debbie and I received this cute note and video from the Forever Family of one of our late November puppies enjoying his first snow! We so love getting little updates. (We’re glad Kasmir had a bit of black on him so he didn’t get lost!) Yes, we’re smiling!

We took Kashmir out for a quick run through the snow and I wanted to share this video with you guys!  Now that the weather has been nice we have been taking him on walks and he loves all the attention he gets from our neighbors.  Thank you so much for bringing so much joy to our lives!
