Isn’t she just a beauty!
Lottus will be coming to our home later this summer. She is a female red and will be arriving from her present home in Sweden. She’s from the same place that our wonderful GCh LOKKEI came from.
We are waiting patiently for her arrival…. well, okay, maybe patiently isn’t quite the right word. More like…. anxiously anticipating!!!
Of course, having Champions like Lolla and Lokkei make for great offspring. They have not disappointed us. Just check out these beautiful photos:
At about 3-1/2 weeks, they are just THE cutest.
Do we dare call this one “Blondie” – probably not, but what a precious little one!
Our pups are all spoken for – with the final one being considered this coming week. But we had to share their beautiful coloring.
They are growing quickly.
Look at this cutie! We are so proud of this fine set of first Havanese pups out of Lokkei (GCh Angebraten Baron Lokkei de Grace) and Lolla (Ch Sedoso Lolla Mae de Grace).
Look at them here… all cuddled up. Hard to tell the heads from the tails.
They have doubled in weight and are just the cutest!
There are 4 boys and a girl. One of the black puppies is the girl!
Lokkei (GCh Angebraten Baron Lokkei de Grace) is the new daddy.
Lolla delivered 5 spunky pups late in the night of Oct 2, 2013.
Ch Sedoso Lolla Mae de Grace is a good mother.
While Lokkei is in Binghamton with his handler, Ruthellen Viall of Viva Havanese preparing for the Westminster Dog Show in February 2014,
Lolla is taking great care of her new pups.
We are so excited, watching them grow and develop.
It will be fun to see the final coloring. Just too darned cute!
We welcome our newest addition and a brand new breed to our home. This is 7 months old Irenna, a wonderfully beautiful, little Tsvetnava Bolonkas female. We’ll be sharing more as we get to know her. We look forward to breeding her and adding her line to our wonderful family.
Translated as “colored lapdog” in Russian, this breed has an interesting history. Here’s a very brief quote from the North American Tsvetnaya Bolonka Club:
So what is exactly is a Tsvetnaya Bolonka? The Tsvetnaya Bolonka is a member of the bichon family that was almost extinct until after the Cold War. It is a small companion dog that is hypoallergenic, funny, clever beyond words and intensely loyal to its ‘family’. Some are excellent ‘mimics’; others are content to sit by the door and monitor who is allowed in or out.

The Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka (literally “colored lap dog” or “colored Bichon”) is a unique Russian toy breed descended from the French Bolonka and a variety of other small breeds combined and refined in Russia. Because of Russia’s traditionally utilitarian attitude toward dogs, toy breeds were once scarce in Russia. But in the 1960s, as the Soviet Union loosened restrictions on dog breeding, more toy breeds arose. An affectionate dog that bonds intensely with its human owners, the Tsvetnaya Bolonka has a big dog’s protective instinct and deportment, but a little dog’s lively animation. The breed gets along well with other dogs and pets, including small animals. The long, wavy, silky, double coat with big, loose curls requires frequent brushing to keep it free of mats. Hair may be left to cover the eyes or tied up in a topknot. About 91/2 to 10 inches tall and sturdy, the Tsvetnaya Bolonka is less fragile than many toy breeds and makes a good playmate for children and a calm, attentive companion for seniors.

To the left is Lucci’s first award. We were so very excited. Then that wall grew to this:
Ruthellen Viall of Viva Havanese in Binghamton, NY has been the handler of all of our dogs. She has been outstanding in her dedication, her loving care of our pets, and it shows in their success.
This is our first wall of fame.
It has now expanded to this wall! Our second wall of Havanese fame. Thank you Ruthellen. Thank you to each and every one of you who keep tabs on our pups as they grow to champions. You encourage us with your wonderful comments.
Most of all, we thank our Havanese dogs. They are precious to Debbie and I. They bring us so much joy.
You might ask, “But are they happy?” Well, does this look like a life of love and luxury to you? Lokkei thinks so.

We Luv Lucci de Grace has earned her Grand Championship this week at the Pocono Mountain Kennel Club, Inc. Dog Show held at the Macungie Memorial Park, Macungie, PA. We couldn’t be any more proud of our dogs.

I spent a wonderfully, sunny, fall afternoon playing with 17 of the cutest little puppies. Above is owner Debbie Heydt enjoying the attentions of this cute tricolor male.
Pastor Ed enjoys a relaxing cuddle with Baron Lokkei. Amazingly this young male arrived from Sweden via Paris, France. And yes, he had a seat of his own on the plane. Believe it or not, he even has his own passport! WOW!
Above you can see the curiosity and the graceful playfulness of these adorable 7-week old Havanese puppies. Inquisitive and intelligent, they are so easy to love.
Below are a few of the color variations of these delightful Havanese puppies. At 7 weeks, they love to romp and play. Then just as quickly, they’ll gather in a pile and fall fast asleep.
