Another Happy Havanese Puppy

Here at Havs of Havre de Grace, we never grow tired of news from our puppies being loved in happy homes. Little Mia is one of those. Thank you to Tony for sending us a great photo of “Happy MIa” from Timonium, MD.
We would also like to thank everyone for their wonderful support of our trip to the BIG DOG SHOW! It was so exciting. Being able to share via our blog and FB was outstanding!
We know there are several people out there waiting to hear of puppies that may be available. Be patient. It may not be until fall, but we’ll definitely announce it here.
LARRGO Makes it to last cut….
Oh, my, the 2013 Westminster Dog Show was an exciting adventure for everyone. While Debbie and I were there for the weekend, SurLuvs Lickin Larrgo de Grace won first place in the Junior Sweepstakes and the Sweepstakes. The Juniors are dogs 1 year to 18 months and sweepstakes are the winner of the junior plus …
GCH LARRGO will be packin’ for NYC
I keep thinking back to the story of how LARRGO went from frolicking puppy to Westminster Dog Show! If I understand correctly, when pups are born, often the handler gets to pick one in trade for some of the work she’s doing. Interestingly, when Debbie saw the little pup, she immediately said, “I definitely want …

Just What Is So Special About the Westminster Dog Show?
Westminster? Special? Could it be that this is the 137th Annual Dog Show? Or might it be that it takes place in Madison Square Garden, New York, NY? Maybe it’s the 2,721 dogs from around the world that are entered. Or maybe it’s the fact that the Westminster Dog Show is the second-longest continuously-held sporting …

Christmas and Havanese Rescue
As you know, we love our Havanese family. We also periodically become foster families for Havanese Rescue Inc. This month we have two dogs we’re sharing some TLC (tender loving care) with while they wait for their special ‘forever homes.’ Rory (above) and Snickers (below) just turned five-years-old in November and were raised in a …
